Access Facilities

The Royal Danish Academy of Music can unfortunately not offer maximum facilities for guests with special requirements due to the Protection Act and the building conditions, but we do try to offer acceptable accessibility.

The Main Concert Hall
We can offer access to the audience rows (the lower level) during concerts and other events. If you want to sit on the balcony or the 1st floor you will have to bring a companion to help you up the stairs.
Handicap-restroom is on the ground floor.
There is a limited amount of handicap parking to the right of the Concert Hall in Julius Thomsens Gade.

Other Concert Halls
We are unfortunately not able to give special service to guests with special requirements during concerts and events in other parts of the Academy (e.g. the Studiescenen, the Garden Hall, the Organ Hall, the Percussion Hall, etc.). There are stairs and steps everywhere, and we recommend that you bring a companion to help you if you wish to attend these concerts and events.

Wheel Chairs and Dogs
It is not possible to borrow wheel chairs at the Academy.
Guide dogs and service dogs are not allowed in the Concert Hall or at the Academy as a whole.
