Baggrund
Marie-Luise Bodendorff er født i Augsburg (Tyskland) i 1983. Hun modtog sin første klaverundervisning i en alder af fem og hendes usædvanlige talent medførte en tidlig optagelse på Hochschule für Musik i Karlsruhe i en alder af 10, hos Prof. Olga Rissin-Morenova. Hendes første offentlige optræden var med Südwestdeutsches Kammerorchester Pforzheim i 1989 med en bearbejdelse af Kuhlau´s Sonatine op 20 i C-Dur for klaver og orkester. Herefter fulgte koncerter med Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester Mannheim, Neuen Philharmonie Westfalen, Folkwang Kammerorchester Essen, Bacau Philharmonic samt Kharkov Phiharmonic Orchestra, Preußisches Kammerorchester og Orchestra Classica di Alessandria.

Internationale aktiviteter
Marie-Luise Bodendorff har gennem de seneste år været solistisk aktiv på forskelige festivaler og koncertserier i Tyskland, Danmark, Sverige, Norge, Polen, Spanien, Frankrig, Serbien og Kina. Marie-Luise Bodendorff underviser siden 2016 i klaver og kammermusik på Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium. Hendes CD med værker af F. Kuhlau (DaCapo Records) blev udvalgt af Politiken af de 20 bedste optagelser i 2021. I 2022 kom Vol. 2 af F. Kuhlau's klaver værker (DaCapo Records) ud og fik meget fine anmeldelser.
