Board
The board at the Royal Danish Academy of Music is responsible for the overall strategic management of RDAM and holds the overarching responsibility for the institution's operations, finances, and development.
The board consists of seven members, including four external members appointed by the Minister of Culture and three internally elected members (a teacher, a technical-administrative staff member, and a student).
The external members of the board have been appointed from September 1, 2023, to January 31, 2028, and the staff representatives have been elected for the same period. The student representative has been elected from 1 August 2026 to 31 January 2026.
The board comprises the following members:
- Kim Bohr (Chair), Director of DR Concert Hall
- Eva Frost, CEO of Jazz Denmark
- Martin Malmgreen, Attorney
- Thomas Rohde, CEO of MXD – Music Export Denmark
- Jesper Andersen, Lecturer – RDAM (elected by the teaching staff)
- Frederikke Nymann Hauge, Study Coordinator (on leave), Sarah Benfield– RDAM (elected by the technical-administrative staff)
- Jonas Vadstrup, Student – RDAM (elected by the students)
