Erik Karlberg studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and made his debut in 1985, with further studies in New York. He also holds a Master of Management Development (2011-12) from Copenhagen Business School.

Teaching

Since 1991, Erik has been employed as an associate professor at RDAM (répétiteur and accompanist for instrumentalists and singers).

He has previously been employed by the University College of Opera in Stockholm, the Royal Swedish Opera, the Drottningholm Palace Theatre and Ystadoperan.

Artistic practice

Extensive concert activity throughout Europe with solo and chamber music concerts, and as an accompanist.

Pedagogical development (PUV)

Erik has held several masterclasses in Sweden, including at Scandinavian Masterclasses, Musik vid siljan and Båstad.
