Brass and Percussion Day for everyone
All brass and percussion players are welcome, regardless of skill level and experience. There will be a part suitable for all levels. Choose a part with your teacher – the parts can be downloaded from the website – and register for the same part for all pieces.
Program for the day:
9:00 - 9:30 AM: Welcome and distribution
9:30 - 11:30 AM: Group rehearsals
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Lunch (bring your own food and drink)
12:00 - 3:00 PM: Tutti rehearsal
3:00 - 3:30 PM: Break
3:30 - 4:45 PM: Concert in the conservatory's concert hall (Free entrance)
This year, Brass & Percussion Day has three components happening on the same day:
- Brass & Percussion Day: This day is for everyone, and you can sign up here.
- MGK/Talent ensembles: This offer is for MGK students or students considering applying to MGK or the conservatory – or have equivalent level. Read more about MGK/Talent ensembles here: DKDM talent day for brass and percussion players.
- Brass/Percussion Solo Competition: The competition is for children and youth and is held in three age groups. It is a collaboration between DKDM, Augustinus Foundation, DAO, and Concord Brass Band. Read more about the competition and sign up here.

Date and Time: Brass & Percussion Day will take place on April 6th from 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM.
