MGK/Talentcamp 2021

Again this year we invite young students on the classical MGK programs and other talented students to a camp at RDAM with lots of lessons, ensemble play, an open house day with useful information about admission, application, and the study life, and last but not least you get a chance to meet teachers, and other young and talented classical musicians

The camp offers

  • Solo lessons with teachers at the Academy
  • To watch RDAM students being tought
  • Ensemble play / chamber music
  • Master classes
  • Access to practice rooms
  • An open house day with useful information about the education programs, auditions, the study life
  • Mock auditions - test your repertoire with a RDAM teacher and get direct feedback 

Besides that

  • Experience concerts with RDAM students
  • Department meetings with RDAM teachers and students

Sleepover

RDAM arranges a sleep over at Danhostel, where you sleep 4-8 people in a room

Catering

RDAM arranges full catering at the Academy during the entire camp. First meal is dinner on Friday; last meal is breakfast on Sunday

Who is the mgk/talent camp for….

We are often asked which level is to be expected in order to participate in the camp. We recommend you speak with your personal teacher at the music school. If you have other questions you are welcome to contact us.

MGK/Talent camp is for you if...

  • you have played your instrument for long enough to master it both technically and in terms of sound
  • you can read music - at a level high enough for you to participate in ensemble playing, etc.
  • you can work relatively independantly with your music (naturally with your teacher), and you crave more inspiration
  • maybe you have thoughts about "going all the way" in the music business, or that music on a high level will always be a part of your life
  • you are curious to meet other young and talented classical musicians
