RDAM Talent Day for Brass and Percussion Players 2024
MGK/Talent ensemble
This offer is for MGK students or students considering applying for MGK or the conservatory – or those with a corresponding level.
The ensemble meets for two rehearsals before Brass Day: 1/4 at 4-8 PM, 5/4 at 7-10 PM, and on 6/4 in the morning.
The focus is on a large ensemble, but there will also be opportunities for short individual masterclasses on 6/4.
The ensemble performs a short section at the afternoon concert.
Program for Talent Day
Monday, April 1st: 6-9 PM (1st rehearsal)
Friday, April 5th: 4-7 PM (2nd rehearsal)
Saturday, April 6th, at 9 AM - 4:45 PM:
9:00 - 9:30 AM: Welcome and distribution
9:30 - 11:30 AM: Group rehearsals
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Lunch (bring your own food and drink)
12:00 - 3:00 PM: Tutti rehearsal
3:00 - 3:30 PM: Break
3:30 - 4:45 PM: Concert in the conservatory's concert hall (Free entrance)

Finally, in collaboration with Augustinusfonden, DAO, and Concord Brass Band, DKDM is organizing a Brass/Percussion Solo Competition for children and young people. The competition is divided into three age groups:
Group 1: Children born after 1/7/2011
Group 2: Children/young people born between 1/7/2008 - 31/6/2011
Group 3: Youth born between 1/7/2005 - 31/6/2008
