Three RDAM students received this year's talent awards

On 9 June 2026, two DKDM students and a DKDM ensemble were awarded the Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Talent Prizes, each worth 150,000 kr.: Trio Fantasma, bassist Viggo Buttenschøn and composer Gustav Bjerre. The Talent Awards were presented at a ceremony at the Carl Nielsen Museum in Odense. 

Every year on Carl Nielsen’s birthday, the Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Scholarship alternately awards honours to musicians, composers and sculptors. In addition to these major honours, talent awards are also presented to young musicians, composers and sculptors under the age of 35.
