DKDM students receive Bente Calberg’s travel grant

Klara Kofod Lauridsen, Josephine Egede Franyó, Nanna Else Johansen and Magnus Franyó have each been awarded the Bente Calberg Travel Grant of 100,000 Danish kroner.

On Wednesday 10 June 2026, the Bente Calberg Travel Grant was awarded to four students from the Royal Danish Academy of Music, each of whom received 100,000 Danish kroner:

Klara Kofod Lauridsen is completing her Bachelor’s degree in singing and will be going on exchange to the Manhattan School of Music in the coming academic year.

Josephine Egede Franyó is studying violin and has chosen to spend a semester of her master’s degree at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo.

Nanna Else Johansen is completing her bachelor’s degree in bassoon this year and has been accepted at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, where she will continue her studies on the master’s programme.

Magnus Franyó is completing his bachelor’s degree in cello and has chosen to begin his master’s degree with an exchange programme at the Musikhochschule Lübeck.
