Johan Bridger Appointed New Professor of Percussion at RDAM

Johan Bridger has pursued a solo career at an international level and has an extensive network in the global percussion community. As a percussionist, he has performed as a soloist with orchestras and participated in numerous chamber music projects.

Since 2005, Johan Bridger has been affiliated with RDAM, SDMK, and Malmö Academy of Music. Since 2023, he has held the position of Assistant Professor in Malmö alongside his teaching activities in both Copenhagen and Odense.

He has led major Artistic Practice Development Activities: Artistic Research (KUV) and Pedagogical Development (PUV), collaborating across institutions, and he brings well-founded and reflective perspectives on his pedagogical approach to teaching and education.
