NOVO Quartet selected for BBC Radio 3’s New Generation Artists Programme 2025–2027
The programme has previously played a significant role in promoting Danish musicians, including the Danish String Quartet, ensemble in residence at RDAM, who were part of the programme from 2013 to 2015.
NOVO Quartet has its roots at RDAM, where all members received their training and developed as an ensemble under the guidance of string professor Tim Frederiksen. The two members, Kaya Kato Møller (violin) and Signe Ebstrup Bitsch (cello), are currently enrolled in RDAM’s soloist programme.
“We are truly proud and grateful for this opportunity – and we can’t wait to see what this new chapter will bring. It’s a huge vote of confidence in us as a quartet, but also in the strong foundation we’ve received at RDAM!” says Kaya Kato Møller, violinist in NOVO Quartet.
In addition to Kaya Kato Møller and Signe Ebstrup Bitsch, the quartet includes violist Daniel Śledziński and violinist Nikolai Vasili Nedergaard.
