The renowned International Accordion Competition in Pula, Croatia, held from 6–9 May 2025, is known for its high artistic standards and has played a significant role in the development of the classical accordion.
Luca Bello competed in the Concertist category, which consists of two rounds and is open to participants of all ages. As one of the youngest contestants, he delivered an impressive performance that earned him the first prize.
"Receiving this prize at such a well-respected and long-standing competition is an incredible honour. It represents not only a personal milestone but also the result of dedicated guidance and support from those around me—especially my professor, Geir Draugsvoll, my parents, and the learning environment I experience at RDAM. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to share my music in a setting that values excellence and tradition. This experience has strengthened my commitment to continue growing, both artistically and personally," says Luca Bello.
