RDAM's concert brochure spring 2026

We continue to present a wealth of perspectives on music; on experience, performance and creativity.

Musical experiences are physical, mental and emotional at the same time. When we listen to music, it is both around us and inside us; it affects our thoughts, our feelings and our bodies. We interact with the world in a special way when we experience it through our ears and bodies. And we are particularly affected when we listen to live music.

Everyone – regardless of their background, knowledge and experience with classical music – is welcome to come in and be enriched with musical experiences and lots of knowledge about all kinds of aspects of music. DKDM's concerts and events take place in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, which provides the setting for exciting shared experiences.

We have an extraordinary number of debut concerts this spring. Most of them take place in the Conservatory's Concert Hall, where you can enjoy the music, the young musicians and Vilhelm Lauritzen's unique architecture. We have a couple of detours to the Concert Church and the Glyptotek, so keep an eye on the venues listed in the concert overview.

Our student-initiated Wednesday Concerts will take you on a tour of a number of the city's churches, where you will experience good acoustics and plenty of space for both the loyal audience and all newcomers. Note the beautiful hall of the Academy of Fine Arts on Kongens Nytorv and the new concert venues: the Norwegian Seamen's Church and the Swedish Church.

The PULSAR Festival is an old favourite, but we guarantee surprise after surprise in this collaboration between composer students and students from the Academy of Fine Arts, instrumentalists, conductors and singers. There are concerts from afternoon until late evening throughout the festival period.

Immerse yourself in the Laboratory's special offerings and come to MandagsMusik, where we enjoy an open bar and the opportunity to hang out with the students after the concert.

Bring your friends, acquaintances, nephews, nieces, children and grandchildren along. We need your ears, your presence and your interest, which will give the students crucial experience in sharing their music with a live audience.
