Research and Development

RDAM’s knowledge base consists of artistic practice (composition and musical performance), development activities (artistic research and pedagogical development), and research, normally abbreviated FOKU from the Danish terms. The Executive Order on the study programmes states that “the study programmes are based on artistic practice, and in certain areas also on research”. The artistic dimension of the knowledge base is thus of vital importance.

At RDAM, FOKU activities are divided into three main categories:

  • Artistic Practice
  • Development Activities: Artistic Research (KUV) and Pedagogical Development (PUV)
  • Academic Research

Please note that not all project descriptions are available in English.
